This class will introduce you to the foundation of our training: Transformational Vinyasa. The word vinyasa means “to connect.” In a vinyasa flow, postures are linked rhythmically with the breath, allowing the joints to be bathed in synovial fluid — the body’s natural, healing lubricant.
Our Level 1 Orthopedic Yoga Therapy program trains teachers to guide everything from powerful, sweaty classes to gentle, therapeutic flows. You’ll learn how to modify poses in safe and effective ways, so you’ll never have to say “If this pose doesn’t work for you, just come into Child’s Pose.” Instead, you’ll have the knowledge to support every student, including those working with injuries or limitations.
